Temporal Semantic Correlation
The topic of interest is defined by a set of keywords (e.g., "Alzheimer’s Disease", “ "New Hampshire Primary", “Solar Energy”). In real-time, Darwin Awareness Engine finds all the new published content that includes these keywords. This content is then analyzed to detect which terms appear the most frequently for a defined time frame. The terms with highest appearance represent what has been most “talked” about, what has emerged during the selected period of time.
Temporal Semantic Correlation enables seeing the "big picture". It allows the visualization of what is emerging relative to a topic of interest and the correlations among the different Web events.

Organic Curation
Temporal Semantic Correlation is the foundation of Darwin's core differentiation - "Organic Curation". Organic Curation is a fundamentally different method of curation from any existing today. The information selection is a purely mathematically-driven, independent-of-any-human-bias approach to presenting information from the Web.
Benefits of Organic Curation
- Dynamic and intuitive method of presentation
- More effective and efficient consumption of information
- Detection of emerging trends and patterns among the information
- Unbiased selection of information presented
- Detection of “outliers” (anomalies, the “not-expected” information)
- Elimination of SEO distortion
- Total lack of dependence upon ontologies, no use of semantic analysis
