For the defined time frame, the ScanCloud displays the 100 terms with highest presence in the online content related to your topic.
This visualization allows you to be in charge of your own content curation and make sure you don't miss anything relevant to you. You can detect what is really important by leveraging your own knowledge and experience instead of depending on external content curators (social media connections, news sites, algorithmic filters).
The characteristics of the ScanCloud tags enable effective content curation because they support the detection of patterns and emerging trends:
Size & Color
A large font size means that during the selected period of time, the tag has a strong online presence. The term is being frequently discussed on the Web. Colors represent categories defined by the user for each Edition to facilitate content curation.
Highlighting
The terms with highest correlation are highlighted in yellow as you scan your cursor over them. Correlation is based on the frequency with which the terms appear in the same publications. This highlighting enables the observation of patterns among tags.
By moving the cursor above the ScanCloud, you are able to visualize patterns (highlighted in yellow) among Tags. Content curation is easy and only requires selecting a tag to filter the posts related to it.
