Darwin Awareness Engine aggregates relevant information and presents it in the form of a "Darwin Edition". Each Darwin Edition monitors a specific topic of interest (e.g., competitors, industry, product developments, regulations, what is being said about the company and/ot its products, etc.).
Each Darwin Edition is configured to present all emerging information related to your topic of interest.
ScanCloud
The ScanCloud displays the top 100 Tags, or terms with highest correlation within all the online content related to the topic of the Edition. It allows you to “scan” information and instantly visualize the “big picture”. More information
BuzzTape
The BuzzTape reflects the movement, or acceleration, of specific terms over the past 24 hours. The top line reflects acceleration and the bottom line deceleration. This helps detect the emergence of an event when a term is present in the top line of the BuzzTape.
Attractors
Attractors are user-defined filters used to narrow the aggregated events. They can be saved and edited. When an attractor is selected, the ScanCloud only display events matching the filter criteria.
Time Frame
You can select the number of hours of information that will be used to form the ScanCloud. The predefined values are last hour, last 2 hours and last 24 hours but any value can be selected up to 200 hours (roughly 8 days) within an Attractor.
Posts
The right column of the Darwin Awareness Engine shows the most representative events/posts based on the term’s correlations appearing in the ScanCloud. Clicking on a source will send you directly to the original web page containing the event.
